PFAS: JUNG and its special chemical protective glove JUGITEC® BV made of fluoropolymer (Viton®)
According to the following (limit value) definition, JUNG’s Viton® gloves are not part of the problem, as they are exclusively 100% polymerised and do not release any monomers (= PFAS). In addition, these gloves are not the classic products currently in the EU focus, such as textiles.
To support this, JUNG had its Viton® gloves subjected to a “target PFAS analysis” by the Hohenstein Institute. Testing was carried out in accordance with the list of OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, Ed. 03/2024, Annex 5.
This analysis certifies that our Viton® gloves cannot release or contain PFAS. The report is available upon request after consultation with Mr Bungert.
